What is Yoga?
Yoga is a way of life. It means to bind, to attach, to yoke, to commune.
It is the connection of the body, mind, and the soul.
It is an 8 fold path that combines philosophy, moral, physical, and spiritual discipline to help in the process and development of transformation.
Yoga helps to still the fluctuations of the mind.
It can help increase agility, balance, strength, endurance, and overall vitality.
Iyengar yoga uses props such as blocks, belts, sandbags, and blankets to help the practitioner to
achieve perfection in a pose. Vinyasa yoga is movement through the asanas using sun salutations to connect the postures.
