What is Yoga?

Yoga is a way of life. Regular practice of yoga integrates the body, mind, and emotions and it can help increase agility, balance, strength, endurance, and overall vitality. Iyengar yoga uses props such as blocks, belts, sandbags, and blankets to help the practitioner to achieve perfection in a pose. Iyengar yoga is therapeutic; it works with different body types and structures, injuries, and illnesses. Over time and with practice, yoga aids the body with proper alignment and structure.
